I think I managed to get through all the steps in setting up this blog. While I have participated in a few blogs I have never actually created one of my own. I am looking forward to this class very much. I love to learn new things especially if they involve technology.
Looking forward to connection with all of you using this new tool.

ReplyDeleteThanks Polly: Maybe you can help me with something. I have been working all night to figure this out. I am using Google's Blogger to host my blog. when I log into my account and select other blogs to file they appear for a brief instant and then are gone. I have been Blogger Help to no avail. I have gleaned that if you have other Google services like Picasa or Gmail you can get some overlap tech issues. Very frustrated.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I understand what you mean by "select other blogs to file"? I do know what you mean by flaky services though! My browser is acting really wonky tonight. When that happens, I try another browser, just to figure out if it's the web site itself or my browser. Google's Chrome browser is handy for that kind of testing.
ReplyDeleteSorry Polly, I meant follow not file. It was late and I was tired. I tired Chrome and had the same problem. I won't use Firefox becuase it totally whacked my computer the first time I downloaded it. I will see what happens when I log in at school. I did a bit more research and it seems that this is a known issue at Google. There are a ton of posts on their help site about it. There are no responses to the posts though. Googles help feature leaves much to be desired.
